The Matt York Band is dear to our hearts here at Filament, since Matt Hryhorsky is, well, Matt York (Hint: Hryhorsky - Hrhsy = York). After years of temporary websites , phrases like "yeah, check me out on iTunes" and MySpace reliance, it was finally time to give them a home on the interweb. Since Matt used a few tools already like ArtistData and Flickr, we decided to tie these into the new site, rather than building a new CMS. By utilizing the RSS feeds from existing services and a few choice JQuery plugins along with HTML5 audio, there was no need to change his existing workflow. Now Matt and the boys can spend more time making great music and less time managing their website.
Creativity comes from curiosity.
It’s the persistent need to try new things, explore boundaries and be that 5 year old constantly asking 'why?' Needless to say, everyone here has a healthy streak of curiosity and has probably played with fire as a child. See what we've been up to.
