5ive15ifteen Photo Company is more than just a name that's hard to say–its 'five fifteen', for those that are struggling. They are a group of award winning photographers that travel the globe and take beautiful pictures of life's beautiful moments. We'd love to say that their job is easy, but, truthfully, creating breathtaking photos is anything but easy. Building a website to help 5ive15ifteen tell their story wasn't easy either so we let the photos tell the story. Working with such amazing photography was certainly a welcomed departure from scouring even the most high-end stock photography catalogs. Ultimately, photography was the reason why people would visit the site not the pargraphs of clever copy. So, we made sure we got out of the users way and let them explore. We wanted to website navigation to be like a butler–always there should you need it but tastefully inconspicuous.
The fine folk at 5ive15ifteen expressed a desire to abandon flash and embrace the mobile web as well as the ability to manage their own content. Who are we to stand in the way of progress. We produced a progressive and adaptive website that responds to a users platform and device appropriately as well as the ability to manage their ever changing portfolio so that their freshest and best work is always available.
Creativity comes from curiosity.
