This was a challenging piece to work on. The client was having an engagement party barebque, not your typical engagement party - which required a not-typical invitation. The client has an extremely critical eye and wanted to bring originality and wow to this project considering that it would be a once in a lifetime event. We used a custom engraving die and burned the text of the invitation into a .25" piece of wood and then mounted it on premium Gilbert stock. The resulting invitation achieved the wow and the originality. The client and his family raved about the work for weeks after the engagement party.
